The assignment required the design and conceptualization of a booklet and a CD cover, choosing a musical group or a singer-songwriter of our choice, while drawing inspiration from the cultural and artistic hip-hop movement, which dates back to the 1970s.

For the singer-songwriter, the artist chose “Ken Ashcorp,”

a singer-songwriter who creates songs based on video games and anime.
The artist’s character was depicted in a pop art style, with half of the face in an anime style and the other half as a PlayStation controller. Bright and vivid colors were used, in line with the original style.
